 Periodical retesting

Each cylinder requires an annual visual inspection.

We recommend a retest each 3 years to ensure our customer’s safety.
Productos Tubulares S.A.U. guarantees the following retest operations:
  • Inner visual inspection.
  • Hydraulic test.
  • Drying.
  • Inner cleaning with dry air.
  • Outside shot-blasting.
  • Retest date (month, year) and trade mark stamping.
  • Inner visual inspection.
  • Ultrasonic test.
  • Surface painting :
    • Amorphous phosphating
    • Anticorrosive coating
    • Final coating
  • Fitting of the accessories.
  • Fitting of the protection plastic net.
  • Certificates with following specifications:
  • Cylinder’s manufacturing number
    • Manufactures
    • First retest date
    • Last retest date
    • Original weight
    • Actual weight
    • Contained gas
